How to configure the planning unit
In this section, you can configure the planning unit, sprint length, and default weekly capacity.
- Go to your plan > click
located next to the plan name and go to Configure > Scheduling. - Select the desired configuration.
Planning mode options | Description |
|---|---|
| Planning unit | Planning unit used to estimate work items |
| Sprint length | Defines the default length for all teams |
| Default velocity | Applies only if teams don't have team members defined, as the summary of the team's overall capacity. |
| Unestimated item scheduling | Defines how unestimated items are handled. Base on default estimates - When you select this option, the default estimates defined in the fields are applied to all unestimated childless items of all hierarchy levels. Base on default estimates - If you select this option, the defined default estimates will be applied to all unestimated childless items of all hierarchy levels. Off - unestimated items are ignored, they will neither show in the schedule nor impact it. |
