After upgrade to JIRA 5.2.x from version prior to 5.2, there will be the new layout of issue navigator. This is a procedure to disable this new issue navigator for the entire JIRA instance.
This will not work in versions after 5.2
Please try this in test instance before applying to the production instance.
To do the following, you have to disable some modules in the system plugin:
- Go to Administration > Add-ons > Manage Add-ons
- Under System Plugins section, Click on the Show System Plugins
- Search for plugins named Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Issue Navigation
- Click on the plugin and expand the modules
- In the module lists, disable the following 3 modules:
- IssueNav kickass-rewrite(kickass-rewrite)
- Quicksearch kickass-rewrite(quicksearch-rewrite)
- Clear sorts kickass-rewrite(clearsorts-rewrite)
